How to Build Claude Into Your Social Media Workflow (Scheduling, Repurposing, Strategy)

Claude can handle the parts of your social media workflow that take the most time. Here's how to build it into your scheduling, repurposing, and strategy process — practically and effectively.

There are three parts of a social media workflow that drain the most time: planning what to create, producing the content, and repurposing what you have already created.

Claude can make all three significantly faster. Here is how to build it in.

Workflow one: planning and strategy

Use Claude to build and maintain your content calendar. Start by giving it your pillars, your audience, your tone of voice, and any upcoming business priorities. Ask it to generate a four-week calendar with post ideas, formats, and hooks for each.

This does not mean you publish every idea it generates. It means you have a starting point every week rather than a blank page. Pick the ideas that resonate, adapt them to your voice, and schedule them.

Prompt: "Generate a four-week LinkedIn content calendar for a B2B founder in [industry]. Use these four pillars: [list]. The tone should be [describe]. Include at least one Founder's Journey post, one educational framework, and one opinion piece per week."

Workflow two: repurposing recordings

This is where Claude adds the most value for most founders and content teams.

Take a transcript from a recording — either from Riverside FM's automatic transcription or from Whisper Flow if you have been capturing voice notes on the go. Paste sections into Claude with the instruction to convert them into specific content formats.

Prompt: "Here is a transcript excerpt from a podcast interview I recorded. Turn it into: (1) a LinkedIn post using the hook, story, CTA structure, (2) a 600-word blog article, and (3) five carousel slide concepts. Match the voice in the transcript as closely as possible."

The output will not be perfect. But it will be seventy to eighty percent of the way there — which means your finishing time drops from two hours to twenty minutes.

Workflow three: editing and improving existing content

Use Claude as an editor. Paste a post you have written and ask it to identify where the hook could be stronger, where the language could be simpler, and where the structure could be tighter.

Prompt: "Review this LinkedIn post. Tell me: (1) how strong is the hook?, (2) is there anything that sounds corporate or generic?, (3) does the structure follow hook, value, CTA?, (4) how could I make it more conversational?"

"
Claude is a tool in your workflow, not a replacement for your voice. The content that comes out needs to sound like you — because that is what your audience follows and what the algorithm rewards.

Use it to go faster on the parts that do not require your unique expertise. Use your own judgement on everything that does.
